The Courthouse in Bushmills

I’m delighted to be resident in the Bushmills Courthouse.

I have a studio that anyone can wander into and buy anything that takes their fancy (have a look around here!). I usually spend Fridays & Saturdays working there (sometimes other days too), meeting potential purchasers, and anyone else interested in having a look around and chatting.

When I’m not there, one of my fellow-artists opens up my room and can sell you anything that takes your fancy.

Drop in and say hello and see what I’m up to these days.

I made this new piece over the last few weeks.

It’s called ‘Evolution’ - diluted acrylic paint and inks on canvas.

60cm x 90cm

I framed it, and within an hour it had sold from my studio - before I had a chance to put it on the wall or up on this site.

It’s a piece I like a lot, and I hope it's new owners do to.

Here’s a short video I made about it.

I’ve been making some short videos lately of work in progress.

Here’s a few - no longer than a few minutes each:

Making of Ink Study #7 - The Fledgling

I recently brought three of my larger ink abstracts home from the framers. They are all on handmade papers - two recycled cotton paper from India, one on wash-style paper handmade in Nepal.
